Art The Clown's 10 Most Unspeakable Acts From The Terrifier Movies, Ranked By Extreme Gore

As a long-time horror fan, I can't think of a villain who unsettled me as much as this one More terrible Movies like Art the Clown and I can't think of an upcoming horror movie that would change that. Not because I'm generally afraid of scary clown films – At least I didn't before – but because actor David Howard Thorton's horrific Harlequin staged some of the most shockingly brutal and unapologetically grotesque killing scenes I've ever seen in a slasher film or anywhere else.

Some are calling it the latest horror sequel from franchise creator Damien Leone horror 3 the scariest episode yet – read our review here – It begs the question of whether the 2024 Christmas horror film really offers the modern horror film villain's best (or more accurately, worst) work yet. As we revisit these new horror movie classics, I think I've created the ultimate ranking of the most intense and egregious crimes committed by the clown, in ascending order.

10. Art turns Steve's head into a jack-o'-lantern (Terrifier)

Sometimes just seeing the aftermath of Art the Clown's bidding is just as effective as witnessing the carnage itself, such as the murderer's first murder in the original More terrible from 2016. Even though we never see him behead pizza shop owner Steve (Gino Cafarelli), carve that grim grinning face into his head, or stick lit candles into his eviscerated orifices, the result is still memorably grotesque.

9. Art Beheads Ricky (Terrifier 2)

More terrible 2 However, 2022 doesn't shy away from showing Art the Clown taking off someone's head in a particularly dirty way, and that's exactly how a friendly costume shop employee named Ricky (Johnath Davis) meets a bitter end. Art begins by breaking a glass bottle over his head before stabbing the jagged remains of the bottle into his eye socket, hacking through his skull and finishing him off by removing his head entirely. Seeing his mouth move and audibly grunting, it's clear he can feel all the noise.

8. Art decapitates the will (Terrifier)

In fact, I think the franchise's most intense decapitation to date occurs in the first installment More terrible When Art the Clown sneaks up on exterminator Will (Michael Leavy) and, without warning, stabs him through the skull, sending him into catatonia. With his other hand, Art makes his way down Will's neck, but stops halfway to bend Will's head back and let the blood spurt out before ripping the rest of it from Will's shoulders with his bare hands.

7. Art sprays Santa Claus with liquid nitrogen (Terrifier 3)

The box office hit horror 3 proved that Art the Clown's murderous operands isn't limited to traditional weapons, but relies on using liquid nitrogen to freeze a fake Santa Claus (frequent Rob Zombie movie star Daniel Roebuck) from the neck down after tying him to a chair. If that wasn't painful enough, he then beats the not-so-funny St. Nick's wrists and kneecaps to the bone, probably earning him first place in the category real Santa's naughty list.

6. Art Hacks Jennifer Limb By Limb (Terrifier 3)

Early reports of audience leaving horror 3 during the opening scene are no surprise after seeing what Art the Clown does to Krsy Fox's Jennifer. The horrific aftermath of her son's off-screen death and her husband's loss of his head are difficult to bear, but turning the camera on Art essentially transforms this innocent mother into her Monty Python and the Holy GrailIs Black Knight? That's cold-blooded.

5. Art Melts Brooke's Face…and More (Terrifier 2)

In Horror 2Lauren LaVera's Sienna Shaw (one of the most imaginative horror movie characters in recent memory) loses her friends to Art the Clown in deeply disturbing ways, including Brooke (Kailey Hyman). He corners her in an amusement park toilet, throws acid in her face, and knocks her onto her back with a table leg armed with various sharp objects, which he then uses to beat her kneecap to a pulp before ripping her still-beating heart away from her I split the breast open and took a big bite out of it. And it's not even the worst kill in the sequel, which we'll get into.

4. Art Hacksaws Dawn In Half (Terrifier)

Easily cemented More terrible The original film's scariest scene, Dawn's bisecting, made Art the Clown an all-time shockfest. Tied to a chair, Tara (Jenna Kanell) watches as the killer rips away a sheet to reveal her best friend (Catherine Corcoran), hanging by her feet and almost completely naked. As the surreality of the sight sets in, Art swings a dirty hacksaw and cuts Dawn between her legs and through most of her head. Corcoran later told the Halloween Daily News that she somehow never expected the provocative scene to have such an impact.

3. Art Feeds Jess Rats (Terrifier 3)

A horror 3 The moment that would haunt CinemaBlend's Nick Venable long after he saw it involves Sienna's Aunt Jess (Margaret Anne Florence), a litter of rats, and a blowtorch. Only Art the Clown would know how to combine these elements into such a stomach-churning atrocity by hammering a plastic tube down her throat, sticking the rodents into the tube, and lighting them up by lighting the blowtorch inside She cut her neck open so the rats could crawl out. Jess was skeptical of her niece's warning about Art's return, but there was certainly no doubt in her mind at this point.

2. Art Chainsaws Cole In Half (Terrifier 3)

If Damien Leone accedes to the studio's requests to tone it down horror 3Gore, we were never going to get a moment that not only eclipsed but rivaled Dawn's death Psycho for the most intense shower scene in cinema. On the other hand, Cole (Mason Mecartea) is already out of the shower and crawling away with half a leg on the porcelain floor when Art the Clown takes a chainsaw to his perineum and works his way through the rest of his body until he's completely split in two . The art tops it off by happily creating a “snow angel” in the student’s blood. The guy isn't right.

1. Art Tortures Allie (Terrifier 2)

To make readers understand my decision to commit the most incredibly barbaric and shamelessly vulgar murder ever More terrible So far I think it's best to take things step by step. In Horror 2Art the clown breaks into Sienna's friend Allie's (Casey Hartnett) house and chases her into her bedroom, where he slits her left eye, cuts off her scalp with scissors, cuts out a piece of her back and breaks her left one Arm pulls the broken part off with her hand and rips her other hand in half.

He then scalpels her several times and douses her in bleach and salt (which he also rubs vigorously into her back) before tearing off half her face. When her mother (Amy Russ) comes home to find Art cutting the skin from her legs, she weakly calls out to her, implying that she's STILL ALIVE after all the carnage! At this point you would be praying for death, but this moment assures us that this clown has not a bone of mercy in his body.

If for some ungodly reason you still don't find any of these scenes gory enough, there are other films like this More terrible that could deliver the gory goods for you, like Damien Leone's favorite 2013 anthology horror film, All Saints Daythe first feature film with Art the Clown. Now this Horror 4 confirmed according to Variety, I can only imagine how this sadistic murderer wants to up the ante.
