Amelia Dimoldenberg may have just secured herself a real date in her Chicken Shop Date interview with Andrew Garfield.

Garfield, who was a guest – and romantic interest – on Dimoldenberg's YouTube channel on Friday to promote his new film “We Live in Time,” had fans in droves in the comments insisting that he and the 30-year-old have a real date.

“I think there's something going on,” said Dimoldenberg, who is known for her awkward flirty style and chemistry with her guests.

The 41-year-old “Amazing Spider-Man” actor, who is now reportedly single, responded, “Do you actually believe that, or is that for the (video)?” He added, “Do you think if not here would we actually go on a date? … Maybe we could have actually gone on a date at some point.”

“I don’t know,” Dimoldenberg replied.

“If you take all the practicalities and logic out of it, I actually think we might have (gone on a date) without all of that,” Garfield insisted. He further asked, “Do you want to get married?” Do you want to have children? What are your ultimate desires?”

When Dimoldenberg hesitated, Garfield urged her to speak openly about herself: “Let this interview be what it is. It’s a different vibe, so to speak.”

Andrew Garfield: “Without the camera we would have a really nice time”

“It's probably going to happen when you stop caring,” Dimondenberg, who keeps her private life private, said of love. She added: “So I was very relaxed today because I gave up. I actually have; I actually gave up.”

“I think we had a really nice time without the camera,” Garfield later said. “I think we would just enjoy each other’s company.”

“I think we should be friends,” Dimoldenberg replied, before going back and classifying the actor as a friend. “I don’t know what I want.”

“I feel like this should be…a practice round,” Garfield concluded. “I think we should actually do it again, and do it better.”

One of the most liked comments reads: “So we definitely just saw her on a real date and tried to pretend it was a fake date.” Meanwhile, the official YouTube account wrote: “now KISS.”

Dimoldenberg's celebrity guests often indulge in her teasing and flirtatious nature, regardless of their family or relationship status. Some, like The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, end up turning the tables and turning to Dimoldenberg, who usually has the upper hand in the Chicken Shop conversations.

“This is the first chicken shop date I've seen where Amelia actually quits character, oh my god,” another commenter noted.

Dimoldenberg, who is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her YouTube channel, and Garfield have been building anticipation for their eventual interview since they have bumped into each other at major events over the years.

Their flirty banter on the 2023 Golden Globes red carpet went viral as Garfield said, “All I ever want to see is you.”

Of Dimoldenberg's shock, Garfield insisted, “That's not the end of the sentence!” I only ever want to see you in situations like this.”

“What about other situations?” she asked, to which he replied, “Not interested.”
