Alessandra Ambrosio set hearts racing as she attended the 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show afterparty in New York City on Tuesday evening.

The 43-year-old Brazilian supermodel was among the lingerie runway show veterans who returned to the runway.

After a successful show, she took the opportunity to let off steam and headed downtown to the Crane Club to party with the likes of Adriana Lima, Lila Moss and Ashley Graham.

Alessandra – who became an Angel in 2004 and retired in 2017 – put on a hot show while wearing a tiny black thong underneath her sheer maxi dress.

The racy ensemble showed off her enviable figure, while a bandeau bra highlighted her cleavage.

After a successful catwalk show, she took the opportunity to make her way to the Crane Club

The bombshell was covered by a glamorous white faux fur jacket, which she let fall from her shoulders as she posed for snaps outside the venue.

She opted for a bright makeup palette and rocked it characteristic beach waves.

The fashion show was a far cry from the event's heyday, when outlandish walks and outfits continued to dominate the fashion world for weeks after its appearance – before the company was hit by scandals, including claims of a “toxic” work culture.

Sales figures have also fallen at Victoria's Secret. Critics say efforts to be more “inclusive” in recent years – including the use of plus-size models – have failed to gain traction.

Despite it, Alessandra was the most anticipated on the Victoria's Secret runway, having not appeared on the show since 2017.

Until then, she was one of the longest-running models on the show, with 17 catwalk appearances.

Alessandra's very first appearance took place in Cannes in 2000 alongside model icons Tyra Banks and Gisele Bundchen.

The model credits her toned body to her fitness routine, which includes Pilates, yoga and sunset power walks.

In an interview with Ocean Drive, the model reflected on her time in the brutal fashion business.

“Over the years the industry has evolved, but there is still a lot of work to do,” she said of the fashion world.

“I think it needs to be more inclusive and reflect the amazing, diverse beauty we see in real life.”

But the fashionista has her own idols.

As for her style icons, Alessandra previously told Harper's Bazaar: “Brigitte Bardot, Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, because they presented themselves with confidence and a sense of fun. “They also adopted a timeless look.”

The beauty also revealed how her relationship with her looks has changed over the years. “I think I developed an inner confidence. I didn't expect modeling to last, but here I am, still doing it and loving it.

The brunette beauty announced her separation from husband Jamie Mazur in 2018 after 10 years together.

She shares daughter Anja Louise, 16, and son Noah, 11, with the 43-year-old entrepreneur.

In 2020, Alessandra announced that she had acquired American citizenship after being a Brazilian citizen for over 39 years.
