According to Tom Brady, Tom Brady received unanimous approval for his Raiders acquisition

Tom Brady gets to have his cake and eat it too. And while his new partners have made it more difficult to serve as both owner and Fox broadcaster, none of them opposed Brady's attempt to have it both ways.

According to Brady's statement Tuesday night The vote was unanimous.

Of course that doesn't mean that First The vote was unanimous. Sometimes it takes a second vote to send a message of unity, even if that was not actually the case and is not the case.

The fact that Brady opened his statement with this claim shows that this was the case very important to him.

While he has never (as far as we know) publicly mentioned the league's decision to exclude him from team facilities, production meetings and practices in light of his Fox appearance, he is certainly aware of the issue. At some point he has to understand the argument against both being an owner and someone who appears to be objective and neutral toward the league's 32 teams.

He may not like it, but I won't stop telling him to choose one or the other. Because he should.

To be honest, it's not like he'll be another John Madden as host. Honestly, it already looks like Brady won't be another Greg Olsen.

Maybe Brady will figure it out himself. Owners own, coaches coach, players play, broadcasters broadcast. There's a reason for those bright lines. Brady's attempt to own part of a team and broadcast games involving other teams blurs, if not blurs, those lines.

Or maybe he just does whatever he wants. Apparently he's always done this. And it worked almost always.
