Aaron Judge causes an uproar at Yankee Stadium with his home run in Game 5

Aaron Judge is back.

The Yankees slugger – thankfully – finally hit his first home run of the World Series, going well past the first pitch he saw from Jack Flaherty in the bottom of the first inning of Game 5 on Wednesday night against the Dodgers.

The two-run shot to right center field also hit Juan Soto, who walked in front of him, for a 2-0 lead, much to the delight of the Yankee Stadium crowd.

Things only got wilder when Jazz Chisholm followed up with a solo shot of his own.

For Judge, the long ball – his first since ALCS Game 3 against the Guardians at OCt. 17 – was a welcome departure from his playoff woes, which have only gotten worse since the World Series began.

The 403-foot shot was his third to date and first extra-base hit against the Dodgers.

It was also a good sign for the Yankees, who are looking to extend the Fall Classic once again after an 11-4 win in Game 4 on Tuesday.
