Starbucks is adding 7 new holiday drinks and foods

Coffee company Starbucks has officially brought its holiday offerings back to the menu starting November 7, accompanied by a handful of new drinks and foods for the season.

Classics like peppermint mocha and sugar cookie latte are back on offer.

Starbucks is also incorporating cranberry and orange heavily into three flavors of its first-ever holiday Starbucks Refresher this year. These include the Cran-Merry Orange Refresher, the Cran-Merry Orange Lemonade Refresher and the Cran-Merry Drink.

A gingerbread cream cold foam to top a cold brew or iced coffee is another new addition for 2024.

This year three new food options were added. A turkey sage cookie, dark toffee bundt and a penguin cookie join returning items like the snowman cake pop, sugar plum cheese cookie and cranberry bliss bar.

Another reason to be happy: Starbucks will no longer charge extra for non-dairy milk starting November 7th. For a long time, it was an extra charge to choose oat milk, almond milk, soy milk and coconut milk. The change will result in a cost reduction of approximately 10% for customers.

Starbucks recently made headlines after a CEO swap. The company's new leader, Brian Niccol, previously ran Plano-based Pizza Hut. In addition to finding 200,000 markers to restore Starbucks' tradition of writing on cups and lowering fees for non-dairy milk, Niccol has a lot of work ahead as the coffee giant struggles with a decline in sales.
