Who does Joan choose in “The Golden Bachelorette”? Fans have theories

Joan Vassos' search to become Mr. Right as the first-ever Golden Bachelorette is soon coming to an end. But who will she choose?

Vassos, a 61-year-old private school administrator from Rockville, Maryland, competed for Gerry Turner's rose on the first season of “The Golden Bachelor.” Now Vassos is the first lead on The Golden Bachelorette, entertaining a group of 24 men who come from coast to coast.

Vassos' journey to find love is almost over and fans across the country have theories about the winner.

Who will receive Vassos' final rose? Here's what the internet says. Warning: spoilers and theories ahead!

Who does Joan choose in “The Golden Bachelorette”?

Steve Carbone, also known as “Reality Steve,” is a well-known TV and Bachelor Nation blogger. He released spoilers for Vassos' Golden Bachelorette season and revealed the names of the final four contestants and the winner.

According to his post, Vassos is taking these four men to dates in his hometown this season:

  • Jordan Hellera 61-year-old senior sales manager from Chicago.
  • Guy Ganserta 66-year-old emergency room physician from Reno, Nevada.
  • Chock Chapplea 60-year-old insurance executive from Wichita, Kansas.
  • Pascal Ibguia 69-year-old salon owner from Chicago.

Carbone originally reported that Vassos broke up with Heller after the hometown dates and Chapple during the overnight dates, and that Gansert and Ibgui were the final two suitors. However, according to a September 18 Instagram post, the reality TV expert has since changed his prediction.

According to Carbone's updated post, Gansert, Ibgui and Chapple appear to be the final three applicants. Ibgui reportedly eliminated himself because he is not in love with Vassos, but it is unclear if this happened in the last two or three years. Chock Chapple ultimately becomes the last man standing.

The blogger says the two are still together but he doesn't know if they are engaged.

Carbone's theories have been proven right – and wrong – in the past. He claimed in November 2023 that Joey Graziadei got engaged to 25-year-old Daisy Kent, a customer service representative from Becker, Minnesota, during the final season of The Bachelor.

However, in a February Instagram post, the blogger said his sources were wrong and that Graziadei was actually engaged to Kelsey Anderson — who the Bachelor actually proposed to in the season finale.

Carbone also accurately predicted that Jenn Trann would choose 28-year-old Devin Strader, a freight company owner from Houston, Texas, on the final season of The Bachelorette. He later correctly reported on September 3rd that Devin and Jenn had since broken up.

Who is Chock Chapple from “The Golden Bachelorette”?

According to his ABC bio, Chapple is “friendly, loves adventure and has had a successful career owning his own business.”

When he's not working, Chapple spends time with his children and his black Labrador, Super Tubbs, training and playing for the Kansas City Chiefs. His hobby is shopping and he is a self-proclaimed grill master.

He also once went night shark diving in Australia and hopes Chevy Camaros with T-tops “make a comeback.”

Chapple's biography states that the 60-year-old is an absolute “relationship person” and is looking forward to “finding the spark again.”
