    Fans loved the fourth season of the Netflix series “Outer Banks” and the next episodes are set to release later this week.

    Deadline reported that the teen drama was viewed over 15 million times as fans tuned in to see the Pogues' next adventure. According to a Netflix press release, Part 1 also took the top spot “in the Global Top 10 English Television.”

    Before the release of Part 2, the streaming service announced that Season 5 was in the works. Series creators Shannon Burke, Josh Pate and Jonas Pate teased that the finale – which will be feature-length – will shape the story of next season.

    However, Netflix also dropped the bombshell that it will be the final season of “Outer Banks.” The makers released a letter to fans about the end of the show.
