Young thug reunites with TI in his first appearance after prison

Young Thug made his first public appearance since his release from prison when he hung out with fellow Atlanta native TI on Monday night (November 4).

Thugger and Tip appeared to be in the studio with TI's son Domani when the “What You Know” rapper posted a clip on Instagram early Tuesday (November 5) featuring a guest appearance from the newly released YSL boncho.

“I’m back,” declared Thug in one of his Sp5der hoodies. “I'm back, Jack. No ceiling in my rap. The right way!”

TI added: “Ay man, there’s no fucking hat in there. It's time. Now go and tell me!”

Tip revealed in his caption that he was temporarily coming out of his rap retirement to jump in the booth with Thug. “Yeahhhhh YKWTFGO The Kings have Reconvened #KingJeffrey #KingSr,” he wrote. “I guess I’m officially out of retirement tonight #Welcomehome.”

Fat Joe, E-40 and many more jumped into the comments section and sent their well wishes to Thugger now that he's back home.

Young Thug – born Jeffery Williams – was released from prison on Halloween after Judge Paige Reese Whitaker imposed a 15-year suspended sentence, allowing Thugger to be released on the same day as Thursday's hearing.

“I know that you are talented, and if you decide to continue rapping, you must try to use your influence to make the children understand that this is not the right path and that it is out of touch with those in power There are also ways out of poverty. “A guy down the street selling drugs,” Whitaker said.

Thug has been held without bail for more than 700 days since his arrest in May 2022. The YSL RICO trial is the longest criminal trial in Georgia's history and is still not over – two of his co-defendants have declined plea agreements and are still in court.

While Thug and TI have teamed up in the past for anthems like “About the Money,” Thugger appears to be teasing the music with another ATLien. Billboards have been popping up all over LA hinting at a reunion between Thug and Lil Baby.

“Whatever Wham Says Goes,” the signs read again and again, as if they had been written on the board by an imprisoned student.

“Whatever Wham Say Goes” references a June 26 tweet from Thug that many linked to Lil Baby’s support for Thugger.
