“Holy smoke! Literally nothing?' CNN anchor Jake Tapper's reaction to the viral election night
Jake Tapper went viral with his song “Holy Smokes!” Comment live.

CNN anchor Jake Tapper's shock at learning that Kamala Harris had failed to surpass Joe Biden's 2020 results in a single state on election night went viral. “Holy heavens! Literally nothing?” Jake Tapper said CNN chief correspondent John King, presenting a gray map in front of him. “Literally not a county?” Tapper asked. And then he was shown the county map where Harris outperformed Biden by 3% in 58 counties.
“So in counties, in 58 counties,” King said. “We just showed that Donald Trump covers over a thousand counties of the 4,600 counties and townships across America.”
“There may be more here on the West Coast, maybe one or two more when the count is finished here, but in the states that matter – I just showed you all the Trump counties – in one county in battleground Pennsylvania, “She is.” We are outperforming President Biden by 3% or more.”

Jake Tapper became a meme for his reaction, and memes were what overtook X on election night. Donald Trump Jr. urged his followers to send him memes. “It's my second night in a row and I'm too tired to look for them. Send them below!!! This is going to be great,” Trump Jr. posted as he also responded to CNN’s meltdown over his father’s projected victory.
“You'd think these mornings would learn… But they don't,” Don Jr wrote in response to CNN commentators who said Trump won because of “racism and sexism.”
John StewartRant against election experts: “You know nothing”

John Stewart also went viral for his insulting tirade against pollsters when a closely contested poll was predicted. “I want to send a quick message to all the pollsters, the election thinkers: Knock me out,” Stewart said. “I never want to hear from you again. I never want to hear, 'We connected with the…'. You don't know shit and I don't care,” Stewart said.
