The New Orleans Saints' trade of Marshon Lattimore unfortunately became a reality on Tuesday when they sent the veteran cornerback to the Washington Commanders. Lattimore was one of the best Saints players we've seen at the cornerback position in a long time, perhaps ever. Now he heads to Washington to help them extend a 7-2 start and an NFC East lead through nine weeks.

So far, not many Saints teammates have mentioned the trade on social media, but one player who did was defensive tackle Khalen Saunders, who apparently doesn't like the idea of playing Lattimore this December:

My God and we still have to play this animal 😭 Latttttttttt NOOOOOOOOOOO”

Saunders joined the team in 2023 and had a season and a half to get to know Lattimore and the rest of the team. Just about everyone knew how good Lattimore was for the Saints, players and fans alike.
