The last time Celtic faced a German side in the Champions League after a 6-0 home win, they were dismantled in Dortmund earlier this season.

Even though it was just over a month ago, the Scottish champions appear to have taken their medicine and are acting much more skillfully in familiar surroundings.

They sprinted out of the blocks, not letting their visitors at the back breathe, and flocked at every opportunity.

It has taken Celtic a long time to secure three home wins in a row in this competition. A wait of 17 years. Through this magic, the stories of the fortress this cauldron once was seemed a distant memory.
