    Centre-back Malick Thiaw gave AC Milan a surprise lead against Real Madrid when he headed in Christian Pulisic's corner and beat Andrij Lunin.

    It was a fast-paced start, the game went quickly from end to end, but the Merengues immediately struggled to cope with the Rossoneri's initiatives, particularly when they came from Rafael Leao and Theo Hernandez.

    In the end, Thiaw took advantage of a perfect corner kick from Pulisic to jump with perfect timing gave Paulo Fonseca's team the lead after just 12 minutes.

    But shortly afterwards Vinicius Junior equalized with a penalty.
