“Warriors' Curry recovered from injury starting against Wizards.”

WASHINGTON, DC – Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is eligible to return to face the Washington Wizards on Monday night.

Curry missed the last three games with a left ankle strain. During an optional shootaround Monday morning, he got some work on the court and moved around without the slightest hint of pain. This came after he completed a workout during a Warriors optional lightweight session at Georgetown University on Sunday evening.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Curry's return will depend on how he felt after his work on the court Monday.

Although Curry has been sidelined since injuring his ankle on October 27, the Warriors have won three straight heading into their game against the Wizards.

Curry returns just as the Warriors' schedule is about to get tighter. After Washington, the Warriors play the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder before returning home to face the Dallas Mavericks and Memphis Grizzlies over a daunting five-game stretch.
