Denver Broncos players post a brutal 41-10 loss to the Ravens

There was a lot of hope among Denver Broncos fans that they could win this game. Unfortunately, the Broncos laid an egg against it Baltimore Ravens by a 41:10 defeat. Even if the result doesn't reflect this, some players had good or even great games, but it wasn't enough.

There were enough problems and mistakes surrounding these bright spots that kept the Broncos from playing good football, especially on the defensive side of the ball. There's not much else to say about the game, so let's take a look at the player ratings.

It wasn't a great game, but it was a good one from Nix. The interception he threw was aimed more at the receiver than at Nix. Even though the pass looked high, it was necessary to get over the defender.

They relied on passes to the left, where 21 of his 33 passes landed and only eight of them were completed. Nix also made some good plays with his legs, including a great play to catch the only touchdown the Broncos scored.

The Broncos need more from their running backs. McLaughlin did nothing for most of the season and had a terrible game against the Ravens. If Tyler Badie can come back this season, it will be necessary because he seemed to be the best of the bunch.

Williams' inconsistency continues and the Broncos shouldn't consider extending or re-signing him.

Sutton was the only receiver to have a good game, making clutch catches and a touchdown pass. Vele was solid, but the rest of the receivers caused more problems for the Broncos' offense than they solved. Humphrey let a pass pass through his hands, resulting in the aforementioned Nix interception.

This tight end room is the worst in the NFL. The Broncos' blocking tight ends are difficult to watch due to their inconsistency and lack a receiving threat, even with a career day from Trautman in Week 8.

One tackle did an excellent job while the other was terrible. Bolles had some issues as a run blocker, but he did a fantastic job in pass protection.

McGlinchey struggled in both phases despite not allowing much pressure. His play as a run blocker was the worst he had done since joining the Broncos.

Forsyth will likely continue to be the starting player, especially after his performance in Baltimore. Meinerz remains a reliable blocker, especially in the running game, while Powers has struggled in recent games.

The Broncos need Powers to bounce back to finish the season.

The Ravens controlled the trenches with their offensive line and the Broncos defensive line had almost no impact. Franklin-Myers had some great moments and Allen had some, but the Ravens completely countered the latter throughout the game.

Roach, Jones and Jackson were hard to watch. The Broncos' best defensive lineman didn't play enough snaps to qualify for a grade: Eyioma Uwazurike.

This was Bonitto's best game as a run blocker. Was it perfect? No, but he was the most consistent he ever defended.

Cooper and Browning were difficult to watch, and when defending a player like Lamar Jackson, the integrity of the pass rush lane is critical, and both repeatedly screwed up. Elliss was hit by poor coverage play that dropped his grade below 50. Browning was too traded to the Arizona Cardinals on Monday.

Alexander has taken a lot of snaps, and that makes sense considering who the Ravens have at quarterback. He took his snaps fairly well and was one of the few bright spots for a defense that allowed 41 points. Barton was terrible and his lack of athleticism showed in almost every snap.

Without a pass rush upfront, the Broncos' secondary was exposed. McMillian has been tough lately and just had the worst game of his career.

Moss was inconsistent at best while Surtain graded well. Remember, penalties don't factor into grades, and Surtain had one.

Key looked lost out there and directly influenced almost every big, explosive play the Ravens made by being out of position or missing a tackle. Jones was solid against the Ravens, which was a tough game for him due to their offensive performance.
