DJ Moore is under fire after video surfaced showing Bears WR leaving the field mid-game

After the Chicago Bears dropped their game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9, there was a lot to unpack.

First of all, the offense failed to score a single touchdown and the team ended up with just nine points. This happened against one of the worst defenses in football. Injuries aside, it was another ill-prepared performance from the Bears under head coach Matt Eberflus.

The loss has sparked a lot of discussion about whether Eberflus finally deserves to be fired, but whether or not the Bears decided to do so midway through the season remains to be seen. Speaking of Eberflus and the coaching team: There have been several times this year where the leadership has questioned the coaching.

Did this have anything to do with what we saw from wide receiver DJ Moore on Sunday afternoon?

On Monday, there was uproar and, to be honest, some confusion among fans over a video that surfaced of Moore apparently leaving the field in the middle of a game against the Cardinals.

At first glance, it actually looks like Moore decided he was done with the game and headed to the sideline. That alone has some Bears fans excited.

There were those who decided to run because they assumed that Moore would resign from his team or that he might stop playing for this coaching staff. As fans, we love to rush to judgment sometimes. That's what we do best, but what really happened here?

As you can see in the video linked above, there were some who also noticed that Moore was limping on this play. He then sat down on the bench and seemed to have something wrong. However, as of Monday morning, there was no news on a Moore injury.

Moore is historically a pretty tough guy, which makes this all the more fascinating. He's known for being a fighter and trying hard, but something seemed off about him at times this season.

More Bears news:

After a nice, fresh contract extension, Moore didn't seem to be himself this season. There was a lack of effort at times, and you have to ask yourself why? Does the veteran really have a problem with the coaching staff? Is he trying to send a message?

To 670 The score, On Monday morning, Moore was asked if he thought Eberflus had lost the locker room.

As one of the team leaders, Moore's opinion is respected. He has a more laid-back personality and doesn't wear his emotions on his sleeve, so it's a little unsettling to hear him speak even quietly about the coaching staff. This was Moore's answer:

“I want to say no… the message yesterday was that we know we're 4-4 now, it's like 0-0. You just have to go out there and start getting wins.”

Even the beginning of this answer is revealing and doesn't sound convincing one way or another.

In summary, it's safe to say that Moore is indeed frustrated with this coaching staff. Whether his feelings are strong and have something to do with the fact that he left the field on Sunday? I guess we'll have to wait for his answer.
