Bawdy. Cheeky. Insanely delicious. Hulu's “Rivals,” the eight-episode adaptation of Dame Jilly Cooper's popular Rutshire Chronicles novel of the same name, is being called a “bonkbuster” in the U.K. for its portrayal rampant lust in the lush English countryside – has convinced the critics since its release in October. But more tongues should be arguing about this in the USA dynasty hits mad Men Boldness, especially if we want to see a second season (and we do!).

Set in 1986, Rivals introduces us to the cigar-chomping, scenery-chewing Lord Tony Baddingham (the always wonderful David Tennant), who will do anything to prevent his Cotswolds-based TV studio Corinium from losing its regional broadcasting contract.
