Raiders vs. Bengals result: Las Vegas will be out of action if another loss occurs

I haven't seen every game of the Las Vegas Raiders' season. I am representing Bill Williamson while he recovers from injury. Is it always like that?

The Raiders played the Cincinnati Bengals this afternoon and it seems like Las Vegas just doesn't have a plan. They lost 41-24 in a game that wasn't even that close.

In the second half, they substituted quarterback Gardner Minshew for Desmond Ridder, a player they had added just a few weeks ago. How many quarterbacks can they go through?

The Raiders' offense was terrible for most of the game, although they scored 24 points. The final seven came in garbage time, while another seven came from a pick-6. They scored the first points in the first quarter but couldn't maintain that momentum.

The offense finished with just 16 first downs and 38 percent third down conversions and 217 total yards. They averaged under three yards per rush and 4.1 yards per pass attempt. They were sacked five times for 41 lost yards.

Meanwhile, Cincinnati's offense accomplished much of what it wanted. They had 26 first downs, 373 yards and five touchdowns.

The Raiders have a bye next week and are tied for last place in the AFC, already three games out of a playoff spot.

As for injuries, Las Vegas lost several players during the game. After injuries to left tackles Kolton Miller and Andrus Peat, they ended up landing their final two offensive tackles on the field. Center Andre James has already been sidelined with an ankle injury from last week.

Slot cornerback Nate Hobbs, tight end Harrison Bryant and guard Cody Whitehair also left the game.
