Is NFL RedZone down? Users report issues in week 9

NFL RedZone appeared to be struggling during Sunday's Week 9 games.

Online users reported streams that were choppy, blurry, or nearly unusable. And that might not be the case Only a streaming problem or something wrong with a particular provider. My RedZone froze and buffered even though it's on my cable provider. (Yes, I am a cable-connected millennial).

Here you will find a selection of some contributions to RedZone.

It's not entirely clear what might be going wrong. Online users have described all other channels working correctly – and that goes for me too. All my other channels work fine, while the RedZone channel is choppy, buffering and unwatchable.

Around 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, as the first games began, there was a spike in reports of problems with NFL Network on Down Detector. (There is no reporting page for RedZone, so this may be the closest proxy.)

Mashable has reached out to the NFL's media team and will update if we receive a response.
