runDisney racing is back for 2025 and 2026! Disney has announced the dates for the races that will take place at Disney World and Disneyland in the coming years.

Put on your running shoes! The popular runThe Disney racing series will return in 2025 and 2026 with fan-favorite events – and some new races. Both Disney World and Disneyland host themed marathons, with virtual racing series also available that you can take part in right from home.

If you have never attended one runDisney races before, it truly is the most magical race in the world. You have the option to sign up for various races, all of which take you along courses that wind through areas of the parks. runDisney returns to Walt Disney World in 2025 and 2026

runDisney's most popular races return to Disney World! From the exciting Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, the biggest running event of the year, to more seasonal events like the Wine & Dine Half Marathon and Springtime Surprise, there is plenty to choose from for runners and running enthusiasts of all levels.

And no matter your favorite racing theme, Disney character, or interest, there really is something for everyone in the calendar runDisney events for 2025 and 2026.

Here's a look at the dates of all the events announced so far and when registration opens for each of these magical races:

runDisney returns to Disneyland Resort in 2025 and 2026

After finally returning from a long break in 2024, runIn 2025, Disney Racing will return to Disneyland Resort for another year of fun!

Both the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend – the largest racing event of the year on the West Coast – and the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend (first held in 2024) will return.

Here are the registration details:

• 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend: January 30 – February 2, 2025
  • Association runDisney registration begins June 11, 2024
  • General registration begins June 18, 2024
• Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend 2025: Dates will be announced later

  • General registration begins December 3, 2024

Take part in virtual races in 2025 and 2026

Can't take part in an in-person race? That's okay! You can join this runDisney Virtual Series, which features select events throughout the racing season.

runYou can take part in virtual Disney races at home. However, you still need to register to secure a spot (and your graduation medal!). You then collect your miles from anywhere, be it at home or anywhere in the world. You can then enter your hours for official events.

For the 2025 racing season you can take part in the runDisney Virtual Love on the Run 14-mile, which will take place February 1-28, 2025. This Valentine's Day-themed event consists of three virtual races – a 2-mile, 5-mile, and 7-mile oh-so-sweet race. General registration is currently open.
