ESPN College GameDay heads to Baton Rouge in Week 11 as Alabama takes on LSU

Rece Davis made the announcement during Saturday's edition of ESPN College game day that they will take the show to Baton Rouge in Week 11, ahead of the gigantic SEC clash between them Alabama And LSU.

It's a fantastic pick as both the Crimson Tide and Tigers are still in the running for a spot College Football Playoffs as the calendar turns to November. The game on November 9th could decide who ultimately gets in.

As for this weekend, both Alabama and LSU have a bye in Week 10. That gives them plenty of time to prepare for the crucial SEC showdown and be ready for all the pomp and circumstance that will surround next weekend's clash.

He is also the head coach of the Tigers Brian Kelly has already been asked whether the Crimson Tide and Alabama were back to their old selves after the storm Missouri last weekend. As usual, Kelly gave a hilarious response.

“What does this old me look like?” What, is Nick Saban back? Nick is on the sidelines? He is everywhere. Matchdayhe is there Matchday to. Did you know that? “Oh my God,” Kelly said. “I’m not sure what old Alabama is. They have great staff. They are well trained. You know, we certainly know it's going to be a big challenge, but this is the SEC every week. It will be the same. I don’t know that there is a feeling that our team is not capable of competing with anyone and playing at their best when it matters most.”

Kelly continued to watch the Alabama game beforehand Kalen DeBoers first game against the Tigers while leading the Crimson Tide program.

“We definitely have to play four quarters,” Kelly said. “And I know they're worried and excited about the opportunity to play and watch at Tiger Stadium, and I think I've said that in the press after there's, you know, a 24-hour rule. But after a win it's easier to have that.

“The 24 hours after a loss lingers a lot longer, and these guys are going to want to play and can’t wait to play against Alabama.”
