Breaking down the latest injury report from Week 9

QB Jordan Love (groin): The Packers quarterback missed practice on Wednesday but returned on Thursday and Friday with limited participation. He was questionable twice before this season – he missed Week 3 against the Titans but played Week 4 against the Vikings. It's possible that “love” will be a real game choice. The assumption here is that Love will play on Sunday as long as he doesn't suffer a setback. Malik Willis, the magic backup, would start if Love can't go.

RB Josh Jacobs (ankle): The veteran running back is confident he will play on Sunday. He missed practice on Wednesday but was limited the final two days. If Jacobs is limited at all on Sunday, the Packers will need more from backups Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks, both of whom have proven capable in recent weeks.

CB Jaire Alexander (knee): Although Alexander hasn't practiced all week, he still has a chance to play on Sunday. It would be an exaggeration to think he can be there on Sunday, but who knows. The Packers definitely need him against a strong offense with a highly efficient passing game. If Alexander is unavailable, the Packers would likely use Eric Stokes and Carrington Valentine as wingers and Keisean Nixon as backup.

CB Corey Ballentine (ankle): He has returned to training and has completed three limited sessions this week, but his status is still uncertain. The Packers might need him to fight through if Alexander can't go. Robert Rochell has no height difference, so only rookies Kamal Hadden and Kalen King are available as cornerbacks on the practice squad.
