The Dallas Stars quickly made themselves at home in Finland for this week's NHL Global Series.

With players like Miro Heiskanen, Esa Lindell and Roope Hintz back in their home country, the stars wasted no time in familiarizing themselves with their surroundings. Now it's time for the action to begin at the Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland.

Dallas will face the reigning Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers in back-to-back meetings on Friday and Saturday. Like the stars, Florida enters the games with strong squad connections to Finland.
