Conor McGregor shares his reckless reaction to Belal Muhammad's graphic injury images that forced him out of UFC 310

Conor McGregor was quick to poke fun at Belal Muhammad following his withdrawal from UFC 310.

The welterweight champion was scheduled to make his first defense of the belt he took from Leon Edwards at UFC 304 on December 7 against Shavkat Rakhmonov in Las Vegas.

However, rumors of the fight being canceled are circulating online, with UFC light heavyweight Alex Pereira being linked to a short-notice title shot against Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 310.

Now Remember The Name has confirmed he is out and has shared several graphic images showing the injury that means he will be unable to take part in the UFC's final pay-per-view of the year To play as a headliner in 2024.

Belal Muhammad pulls out of UFC 310 due to a bone infection

On Thursday, Belal Muhammad shared three pictures and three videos that showed him lying in a hospital bed, apparently struggling with a toe problem.

Mohammed's middle toe on his left foot was extremely swollen, covered in stitches and wrapped in bandages in the photos, which included a caption explaining what had happened.

He wrote: “I got a bone infection in my foot. I had to have a PICC catheter (peripherally inserted central catheter) placed in my arm for the next 6 weeks to receive IV antibiotics without doing any physical activity.

“Allah’s plan is the best plan. I'm sorry to everyone who came to visit me. I will be back soon, InshAllah.”

Muhammad's comments section was flooded with well wishes from UFC legend Michael Bisping, revered trainer Eric Nicksick and MMA interviewer Nina Marie Daniele.

Even his opponent had a few kind words. Rakhmonov took to X – formerly known as Twitter – with a message to the champion and their fight fell through.

“I wish Belal a speedy recovery,” tweeted the 18-0 contender. “We’ll meet when you’re back to 100%. Right now I'm ready to take on any contender for the interim title at #UFC310.

Conor McGregor had absolutely no sympathy for the 170-pound UFC king. “Notorious” stumbled upon pictures of Mohammed's swollen toe and then posted two crying, laughing emojis underneath.

Conor McGregor is not a fan of Belal Muhammad

McGregor suffered a toe injury that forced him to withdraw from UFC 303 in June. So one might assume he would feel sorry for another MMA star who finds themselves in a similar situation.

However, it has become clear that the Irishman does not like Mohammed or his fighting style.

“I'd love to drive my left hook into Belal's temple and destroy the triple crown,” McGregor tweeted in October. “I would make it easy. And quickly!

“To think that this bum is now a UFC champion and has no defeats on his resume is so bad. The UFC’s most disastrous zero-revenue fighter in modern history.”

In response, Muhammad made a dire prediction about the former UFC doubleweight champion's career.

“This guy is always high or drunk,” he claimed during an interview with Submission Radio.

“And he will only be able to imagine hitting me when he's high or drunk. Nothing will ever happen. He won't get back to 170. He won't fight again.

“You know, he needs to go back to rehab. And like I said, if he needs a ride there, I'll help him. I'll get him an Uber there. But yeah, someone has to help this guy. It's not him. He won’t be fighting any time soon.”
