Mercer University's Hall of Fame Class of 2024 will be inducted Friday and Saturday during Homecoming Weekend

MACON, Ga. – (41NBC/WMGT) – Mercer University Hall of Fame Class of 2024 inductees include baseball great Billy Burns (2008-11), basketball phenom Kahlia Lawrence (2014-18) and former basketball Men's head coach Bob Hoffmann (2008-19).

Mercer will also induct Bears supporter Ashley Copelan as the first inductee into the Hall of Fame, which is reserved for individuals who have made significant contributions to Mercer athletics outside of playing or coaching.

The 54th Hall of Fame class will be honored at the annual Alumni and Friends Awards Reception and Dinner on Nov. 1 in the President's Dining Room and on Saturday at 3 p.m. during Mercer's homecoming football game against East Tennessee State.
