Trump campaign condemns Harris representative Mark Cuban for “insulting” pro-Trump women

EXCLUSIVE: The Trump campaign is condemning billionaire Mark Cuban, a top aide to Vice President Kamala Harris, for “extremely offensive” comments against women who support former President Trump, and is calling on the vice president to “immediately condemn” his comments.

Cuban appeared on ABC's “The View” Thursday morning when he made the comments.

“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. Never,” Cuban said. “It's that simple. You're intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them.”

Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt criticized Cuba's comments.

“Joe Biden called Trump supporters 'trash,' and now Kamala's top deputy Mark Cuban insinuated that female Trump supporters are 'weak and stupid,'” Leavitt told Fox News Digital.

“This is extremely offensive to the thousands of women who work for President Trump and the tens of millions of women who vote for him,” Leavitt said. “These women are mothers, entrepreneurs and industry leaders, and they are actually strong and intelligent, contrary to what Mark Cuban and Kamala Harris say.”

Leavitt told Fox News Digital that “the joy at Kamala headquarters has been replaced by division, hatred and a disturbing level of disrespect for the millions of Americans who support President Trump after four years of destruction under Kamala Harris.”

“Women want a president who will secure our border, drive violent criminals out of our neighborhoods and put more money in our pockets – and that’s exactly why we support President Trump,” Leavitt said. “Kamala Harris must immediately condemn Mark Cuban’s disrespectful insults to women.”

The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

The comment comes just days after President Biden appeared to call Trump supporters “trash.”

BIDEN CALLS TRUMP SUPPORTERS “GARBAGE” DURING HARRIS CAMPAIGN EVENT AS VP PROMISES UNITY AT ELLIPSE RALLY

Biden spoke Tuesday during a Zoom call with Voto Latino, one of the largest Latino voter and civic groups in the United States. Biden was asked about a comment made during a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday in which comedian Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating island of trash.”

Biden responded: “The only trash I see floating out there is his supporters.”

The White House has since denied that Biden called Trump supporters “trash,” claiming the comment was taken out of context.

And when asked about Biden's comments, Vice President Kamala Harris responded: “I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for.”

“I believe my work is about representing all people, whether they support me or not,” Harris said. “And as president of the United States, I will be a president for all Americans, whether you vote for me or not.”

Trump drove around Wisconsin in a “Make America Great Again” garbage truck on Wednesday and wore a garbage worker high-visibility vest to address his supporters at his rally in Green Bay.

“He called them trash – and they mean it, even though my supporters are without question far more quality than Crooked Joe and Lyin' Kamala,” Trump told his supporters on Wednesday afternoon.

But Trump said he had an answer for the president and vice president.

“My answer to Joe and Kamala is simple: You can't lead America if you don't love Americans,” Trump said. “And you can’t be president if you hate the American people, and there’s a lot of hate.”
