According to The Cut, a two-hour documentary titled “Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words” was released on Thursday, October 31st via Amazon Prime. The aim of the special was to “show the Megan Pete behind Megan Thee Stallion.”

Additionally, the documentary reportedly followed Meg's rise in the music industry following the death of her mother and the aftermath of the July 2020 shooting with Tory Lanez, in which she was injured.

According to the outlet, Meg called 2020 the “worst year” of her life. Additionally, at some point in the documentary, she considered talking about the shooting incident when she sat down with King in 2022. Per REVOLT, Meg told King that she had never had a “sexual relationship” with Lanez before the incident. However, during the documentary, the rapper admitted that she lied to King.

As REVOLT previously reported, in 2022, during their sit-down meeting, King largely questioned Meg about the July 2020 incident. King reportedly asked Meg during the meeting if there had been an argument between her, Kelsey Nicole, and Tory Lanez while she was with the car leaving a party at Kylie Jenner's house.

“It was (a) fight because I was ready to go and everyone else wasn’t ready to go. But that’s kind of like normal friend stuff,” Meg reportedly told King. “We do silly things all the time. But I never put my hand on anyone. I never raised my voice too loudly. It was one of those moments where it shouldn’t have gotten so crazy.”

At the time, Meg explained that the argument escalated and she heard a man yelling, “Dance, bitch!”

“He stands over the window and shoots. And I didn't even want to move. I didn't want to act too quickly. Because I'm like, “Oh my God.” If I make the wrong move, I don't know if he's shooting something that's super important. “I don’t know if he could shoot me and kill me,” the rapper reportedly told King while recounting the incident.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Lanze's shooting trial subsequently revealed that both Meg and Nicole had allegedly been intimate with Lanez, which sparked the heated incident.
