Live Updates: Donald Trump, Kamala Harris Election News

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.

Less than a week before Election Day, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are making their final push into battleground states.

Trump was in Wisconsin on Wednesday, where he again criticized Joe Biden over the president's “garbage” comment. “On a campaign call last night, corrupt Joe Biden finally said what he and Kamala (Harris) really think of our supporters. He called them trash,” he said at a rally in Green Bay.

Harris said Wednesday that she “strongly” disagrees with “any criticism of people based on who they vote for.”

Here's what else you should know:

Exclusive: Maryland Republican Senate candidate Larry Hogan touted Trump's support in a private fundraising appeal, suggesting it would help him reach out to the former president's “hard core” of supporters – after repeatedly saying he didn't want Trump's support.

Loss of approval for Trump: Latin superstar Nicky Jam announced to his 43.5 million followers on Instagram that he has withdrawn his support for Trump due to a comedian's comments about Puerto Rico at the former president's rally at Madison Square Garden. This came a month after the reggaeton artist appeared on stage with Trump donning a MAGA hat.

Trump's take on non-endorsements: Trump said the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and USA Today's decision not to endorse a presidential candidate in this election means they think Harris is “no good.”

Harris in Pennsylvania: In Harrisburg, Harris said that “nothing will stand in the way of my work for you” if she is elected president next week. She was interrupted by demonstrators shouting something incomprehensible. The crowd chanted “Kamala!” at the protesters. “Look, everyone has the right to be heard, but right now I’m speaking,” she said.

Harris in Wisconsin: In an appeal to young voters, Harris told a crowd at a Madison university that she understood they were impatient for change. Both campaigns aim to attract young voters, a demographic that could be crucial in battleground states like Wisconsin.

New survey: According to new CNN polls from SSRS, Harris maintains a slim lead in two of the three “blue wall” states – Wisconsin and Michigan – that together represent her clearest path to an Electoral College victory. But in Pennsylvania, the biggest electoral win of the three states, the race is tied.

Voting Across America:

In Pennsylvania:

  • A Pennsylvania judge granted a request from the Trump campaign and ordered Bucks County election officials to offer on-demand absentee voting by Friday, extending the deadline by three days.
  • Voting rights groups and state Democrats urged the U.S. Supreme Court to allow Pennsylvania residents to cast provisional ballots if their mail-in ballots are rejected, rejecting an emergency appeal from Republicans seeking to halt that process in the key swing state.

In Oregon: Investigators in Oregon searching for the person responsible for three ballot box fires in recent weeks believe “it is highly likely that the suspect intends to continue the attacks,” police said.

In Michigan: According to the Michigan Secretary of State, there was confusion over the voting results due to a formatting error that was corrected and no additional votes were counted.
