Trump claims Harris is waging a “campaign of absolute hate” following the backlash to the Madison Square Garden rally.

With just a week until Election Day, former President Donald Trump is hitting back at Vice President Kamala Harris and her team for spreading “a campaign of destruction and absolute hatred.”

“Quite simply, Kamala Harris is the worst vice president in history… Her message to Americans is one of division and hate,” Trump captioned a video on his social media platform Truth Social.

“My message is about saving our economy, securing our border and bringing together the largest, broadest coalition in American history,” Trump continued.

The former president spoke to a room full of supporters at his Mar-a-Lago estate on Tuesday, hours before Harris was scheduled to give what her campaign has described as her final speech on the Ellipse in front of the White House, where she is expected to call the country to turn Trump's side.

“It is waging a campaign of demoralization and, in reality, a campaign of destruction. But in reality, perhaps more than anything else, it is a campaign of hate. A campaign of absolute hate,” Trump said. “I said yesterday that she is a vessel. She is a vessel. It is a very large, powerful party with smart people… but they are evil and may even be trying to destroy our country.”

“After two attacks in just over three months, their lies and their slanders are very shameful and truly inexcusable,” said Trump, describing the attempts on his life.

Much of the media covered former President Trump's historic rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday evening. claimed it reflected a Nazi rally in the 1930s at the famous venue, despite numerous Jewish visitors and Israeli flags. Democrats, including former President Bill Clinton, have also held events at the famous arena. The NBA's New York Knicks play their home games at Madison Square Garden.

Thousands of Trump supporters packed into “the world's most famous arena” to listen to remarks from high-profile speakers, including an address from former first lady Melania Trump, before the former president took the stage. But instead of watching a Republican candidate draw a massive crowd in the middle of a blue city just nine days before the election, liberal pundits followed Vice President Kamala Harris' lead and called Trump a fascist compares him to Adolf Hitler.

MSNBC emphasized that the venue was the site of a pro-Nazi rally in 1939, although MSG was remodeled several times and the current addition was not completed until 1969. It was held in the same arena that once hosted supporters of a ” another fascist leader, Adolf Hitler”, were guests.

Then-President Franklin D. Roosevelt hosted an event at Madison Square Garden a year after the infamous 1939 event.

Retired NYPD Inspector Paul Mauro called it “ridiculous” to equate Trump’s rally with what happened at MSG in 1939.

“Does the fact that you played in the arena somehow make you a Nazi taker? And I'm telling you, there were an awful lot of Israeli flags hanging in that building for a Nazi rally,” Mauro said Monday on “America's Newsroom.”

The founder and managing director of “Stop Antisemitism”, Liora Rez, also criticized the Hitler comparisons.

“Identifying a presidential candidate – or his supporters – with the Nazi regime is a dangerous trivialization of the true horrors of Hitler. It dishonors the millions who were murdered and the brave who fought to end his tyranny,” Rez told Fox News Digital.

Co-chair of the Harris-Walz campaign Cedric Richmond also told America's Newsroom on Tuesday: “If you want to know why people call Trump Hitler, you might want to start with JD Vance, who did that.”

Richmond was refers to the call from Vance Trump may have been “America’s Hitler” and an “idiot” before the 2016 election. Vance has since said he was wrong about Trump and is now on the Republican ticket for 2024.

“Fascist was an answer to a question that was asked at the town hall and it was a direct question and the vice president gave a very direct answer,” Richmond added. “And it’s consistent with the people who worked around him.”

Critics have slammed the Harris campaign's lack of focus, saying the “joy” isn't reaching voters.

Former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer, whose relatives died during the Holocaust, said that Democrats using Nazi comparisons as a closing argument about what they could do politically in the election was the “stupidest thing.”
