The New York Yankees lost 4-2 to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday night, leaving them 3-0 in the World Series. The Dodgers' win in the Bronx put them on the cusp of their second title in the last five seasons.

The Yankees' disappointing loss in their first home World Series game in 15 years was reminiscent of the first two games of the series for star slugger Aaron Judge. Judge went 0-for-3 at the plate with another strikeout, his seventh in 13 World Series at-bats. He's now batting .088 in the Fall Classic, a complete disappearance from a historic offensive season in which he hit .322 with 58 home runs and 144 RBI.

“They want to get the hits. You want to do your job, but I’m not doing my job right now,” Judge said. “I have to pick it up.”

Judge doesn't have time to break out of his slump this offseason. He is batting just 6 of 43 (.140) in 12 playoff games and has a playoff hitting percentage of 3 of 22 (.136) with runners on base and 0 of 10 with six strikeouts with runners in scoring position. The numbers are staggering for one of the best hitters in baseball.

Game 4 between the Yankees and Dodgers is scheduled for Tuesday night in New York as the Bronx Bombers look to avoid disastrous defeat while Los Angeles looks to secure another World Series title.
