Indy bars and restaurants are open late for Taylor Swift Eras Tour concerts

In case you haven't heard, there's a little concert in Indianapolis.

Downtown Indy is sure to be packed during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concerts at Lucas Oil Stadium November 1-3. If you're attending one of the shows, you might want a place to eat, drink and hang out amidst the Swiftie stampede.

With some Eras Tour concerts lasting more than three hours, Swift's performances in Indianapolis will likely end around 11 p.m. or later, meaning your post-show options will be largely limited to bars and will be even more limited on Sunday night.

Still, there are some paradises for concertgoers under 21. Here you will find a few restaurants and bars within walking distance of Lucas Oil Stadium that you can stop by after the Eras Tour concerts.

Buffalo Wild Wings

7 E. Washington St., buffalowildwings.com, open until midnight Fridays and Saturdays, 11 p.m. Sunday evening

Buffalo Wild Wings is hardly a local hangout. However, if you need a large food and drink venue that's open until midnight and accepts guests of all ages, these boneless garlic parmesan wings look a lot more tempting. Buffalo Wild Wings in downtown Indy is southeast of Monument Circle, about a 20-minute walk from Lucas Oil Stadium.

District tip

141 S. Meridian St., thedistricttap.com, open until 2 a.m

Despite its extensive offering of sparkling pint glasses, District Tap is open to all ages and serves a full pub menu until an hour before closing time. The downtown bar and restaurant even offers themed cocktails and a friendship bracelet workshop until 2 a.m. every night of Swift's Indy visit.

O'Reilly's Irish Pub and Restaurant

36 S. Pennsylvania St., oreillysirishbar.com, open until 3 a.m

This family-friendly restaurant offers familiar pub fare like burgers and sandwiches, as well as some quintessentially Irish options like Banger and Mash and Cottage Beef Pie. There's a full bar for adults 21 and over, as well as a kids' menu for those under 12 if you've brought particularly precocious Swifties. The bar is about a 16-minute walk from Lucas Oil.

Pearl Street Pizzeria and Pub

65 E. Pearl St., pearlstreetnew.com, open until 3 a.m

Located on a side street 1.3 kilometers from Lucas Oil, this restaurant and bar serves pizza, calzones, pasta and sandwiches until 11 p.m., then transforms into a classic pub.

Taco Bell Cantina

24 W. Washington St., tacobell.com, open until 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday night, 3 p.m. Sunday night

When it comes to late-night partying, no one has your back like Taco Bell. The Taco Bell Cantina on Washington Street just off Monument Circle offers typical Taco Bell fare – beautiful Frankenstein's monsters of Mexican-American cuisine, nachos and potatoes smothered in gooey yellow helmet cheese, for some reason a 16-square-inch Cheez- It – plus, customers 21 and older can enjoy alcoholic beverages like the vodka-infused Mountain Dew Baja Blast and the Twisted Cantina rum punch. Those too young to enjoy these can always order their shockingly pastel blue-green Baja Blast without alcohol.

White castle

55 W. South St., whitecastle.com, open 24 hours

Further evidence of the fast-food mega-chains' unwavering resilience is that the White Castle outpost in downtown Indy is open to diners 24 hours a day. A grease-smeared sack of sliders sits just a 5-minute walk from Lucas Oil.
