Actor Tony Rock sheds some light on his relationship with his comedian brother, Chris Rock.

In an open interview with “Live from the Green Room” After hosting, Tony talked about their strained brotherhood Ram spears asked why he doesn't see Tony starring in any of Chris' films.

“I'll try to explain it to you. I'm not saying it will make sense, but my brother (…) is a businessman when it comes to films. So Martin (Lawrence) is taller than me,” Tony said, referring to Chris' film “Death at a Funeral” with the “Bad Boys” actor. “I have to sell this film. Tony is my brother, yes… but he and Martin pushed harder.”

Additionally, Tony remembered a particular moment that disappointed him in his brother. He recalled being offered a role in “Chris.” “Top Five” Movie, a film he wrote and directed. According to Tony, Chris told him that he would be in the movie that would be set in new York. Naturally, Tony was happy to take part in the film and even told his team that he would be putting his comedy tour on hold as soon as he got the call.

“I was on tour when he made the movie 'Top Five,'” Tony remembers. “I came home for a week. We haven't seen each other in a while and don't talk much, but since the divorce we've been talking more. But he was in his area where we didn’t really talk much.”

He continued: “I go to the Comedy Cellar and he’s there. He sits at the table with Colin and all the boys. I go over and say, ‘What’s going on?’ and he says, ‘Yeah, we got a movie, man, get in there.’ I didn’t ask for anything.”

However, that call never came. Weeks passed and although Tony eagerly awaited confirmation, he found out nothing about the role. Instead, he received calls from mutual friends and industry colleagues asking him why he wasn't on set. Confused and worried, Tony later learned that production had already begun filming the film. But the worst part of the situation was that two months later, Tony received an invitation to the wrap party to celebrate the film's completion.

“I started getting calls like, 'I'm on set, where are you?' “Oh shit, I didn’t get a call,” he added. “After two months, I get a damn call: 'Yo, are you at the wrap party?' We here.' That didn’t blow me away.”

Although the news is surprising, it is important to note that both actors and comedians have made great strides in their careers. Chris hasn't yet responded to Tony's description of things.
