LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – After finishing second in the Big 12 standings, No. 14 Texas Tech Soccer has secured the runner-up spot for next week's Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Championships at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City.

After finishing the regular season 13-3-2 overall and 8-1-2 in Big 12 play, the Red Raiders will face the winner of a first-round matchup on Wednesday between seventh-seeded Arizona (11-5-2/ 6-4-1 Big 12) and 10th seed Baylor (7-7-5/2-5-4 Big 12) reached the quarterfinals.

The Red Raiders did not face Arizona in the 2024 regular season, but defeated Baylor 1-0 on Oct. 4 in Lubbock.

TCU, which took home the 2024 regular-season title, secured the No. 1 overall seed and will draw the winner of No. 8 Utah and No. 9 Colorado next Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.

The Horned Frogs would face either No. 4 BYU, No. 5 Oklahoma State or No. 12 Cincinnati on Saturday with a win over Utah or Colorado.

No. 3 West Virginia will close out the quarterfinals on Saturday with an 8 p.m. matchup against winner No. 6 Kansas and No. 11 Arizona State.

If Tech wins over either the Bears or Wildcats, they will face the winner of WVU/KU/ASU one week from Wednesday (November 6) at 7 p.m

The 2024 Big 12 Tournament championship game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m

Game 1: No. 5 Oklahoma State vs. No. 12 Cincinnati – 11:30 a.m
