Moments ago, the West Virginia Mountaineers announced they will wear white helmets, white jerseys and white pants in this weekend's Big 12 road contest against the Arizona Wildcats.

This matchup marks the first time the Mountaineers and Wildcats have met on the gridiron, and it is an important game for both programs, to say the least. At the start of the season, both were considered dark candidates to reach the Big 12 title game, but after seven games they are each 3-4 under .500.

Arizona enters the game with a three-game losing streak against Texas Tech, BYU and Colorado, while West Virginia has lost two straight games against two ranked opponents in Iowa State and Kansas State.
