A worthy tribute! Indiana is highly expected to remain undefeated this season under the leadership of head coach Curt Cignetti. Last Saturday, the Indiana Hoosiers defeated Nebraska 56-7 to secure their seventh straight win of the season. Not only was the stadium game sold out, but with 53,082 fans in attendance, it was the show's first sellout since 2021. Now, Indiana is paying a special tribute to its talented “Google Me” coach on Saturday before the game against Washington.

With the title “These Cignetti towels are INCREDIBLE,“Pat McAfee posted a video on his X account on October 25th that referenced Curt’s distinctive writing style. According to the video, Indiana will place towels on the student section seats for fans to wave during the game against Washington. The towels resemble the front of a Marlboro cigarette box, with “Cignetti” where the brand name would normally be.

“That looks good. This is a good looking bib. This is a good looking bib.McAfee said, summing up the entire situation. Furthermore, he claimed: “Will take a good look at it. Indiana is burning right now. It's buzzing and they're hysterically sick. Probably the coolest thing. Logo created for a trainer. Absolutely. And he did. I mean, he doesn't. He's not a budgie. He's cool.“

This isn't the first time, in case you didn't know. At last week's game against Nebraska, there were towels on the seats that said, “'Learn Later.'” – Coach Cig.” Previously Indiana supporters have designed a t-shirt in honor of this towel outstanding coach for his first year coaching achievements with the Hoosiers.

Indiana's 7-0 record is its best since the Hoosiers qualified for the Rose Bowl in 1967. IU has not trailed in any games this season and is now ranked 16th nationally. Head coach Curt Cignetti is considered the driving force behind the success. After Cignetti's five-year tenure as head coach at James Madison, which ended with a 52-9 record, IU hired him in November 2023. And you've seen improvement ever since!

Fans unaccustomed to the Hoosiers' unexpected football success have made several “Coach Cig” T-shirts in memory of the man who transferred from Madison to IU. Really cool and adorable! The first Cignetti T-shirt was distributed at the opening game of the season. It featured the Marlboro emblem along with the word Cignetti. Issac Perlich, IU's production assistant, claimed that he had now seen people wearing them everywhere.
