    The 2024 college season didn't go the way UCLA football or first-year coach DeShaun Foster probably planned.

    The Bruins (2-5, 1-4 Big Ten) won their season opener on the road against Hawaii before losing five straight games, including their first four games as a member of the Big Ten. However, the Bruins bounced back last week with an impressive 35-32 road win over Rutgers.

    Now, UCLA enters the second bye week of the season and enters a crucial phase: The Bruins can only afford one more loss this year, but still hope to achieve bowl eligibility.

    UCLA returns to action in Week 10 with a road game against Nebraska. Here's what you need to know about the Bruins' remaining schedule:

    No, UCLA will not play in Week 9.

    UCLA football is in the second of two bye weeks during the 2024 college football season. The Bruins had their first bye in the second week after the season-opening road game in Hawaii.

    UCLA will return to action in Week 10 in Lincoln, Nebraska with a road game against the Cornhuskers. The following week, the Bruins host Iowa in a Friday night contest. UCLA will play five straight games to close out the season, including a fairly manageable three-game stretch – at least as far as travel goes – in Washington against USC and against Fresno State.
