WENDY'S has delighted foodies with the launch of a new frosty flavor to celebrate autumn.

One fan described it as “better than pumpkin spice” as he shared the excitement of trying out the new dessert.

Wendy's customers have been enjoying the limited edition Pineapple Under The Sea Frosty for the past few weeks.

However, a new variant is set to be introduced when the Spongebob Squarepants-inspired variant expires in November.

Instagram user Snackolator has teased a new Salted Caramel Frosty with his 491,000 followers.

One photo showed the chilled snack in a branded cup.

“I feel like I've been waiting my whole life for Wendy's to release this Frosty flavor!” they said in the caption of their post.

It went viral as thousands of commenters shared their desire to try the dessert.

“This taste is the stuff dreams are made of,” one person said.

“Man, at this point Wendy's is on an elite roll with these Frostys,” another commented.

“Yes, I love caramel flavor,” chimed in a third.

“I'll eat anything that has salted caramel in it!” another added.

Other replies to the post expressed that they would have preferred to see Vanilla Frosty return.

“I'm so sick of them ditching vanilla to replace these seasonal flavors,” one person said.

“Can I just get vanilla and the seasonal flavor?! Chocolate isn’t that good.”

The mixed opinions about the new flavor came after Snackolator shared a post about the flavors Wendy's offers at restaurants in other countries.

• Krabby Patty Collab Burger: Wendy's version of a Krabby Patty features a quarter pound of fresh, never-frozen Wendy's beef, two slices of melted American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion and a top-secret shrimp kolab sauce on a premium toasted bun.

These included Chocolate Covered Pretzel Frosty in Trinidad and Tobago, Frozen Hot Chocolate in the UK and Pistachio in Saudi Arabia.

Other countries indulge in White Chocolate Strawberry, Mango Tajin and Mango Crumble Frosty.

Commenters complained that the flavors were unlikely to appear in the United States any time soon.

“Pistachio would be a good idea to come here!” said one person.

“Wtf I want pistachio and mango crumble,” wrote another.

“I need that white chocolate strawberry ASAP,” a third commented.
