Cardi B is taking some time off from the stage after a recent hospital stay.

The Grammy-winning rapper, 32, announced the cancellation of her upcoming performance at One Music Fest on her social media pages Wednesday, citing her recovery from an undisclosed “medical emergency.” Cardi was scheduled to perform at the Atlanta Festival on Saturday.

“I'm so sad to share this news, but I have been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency for the past few days and I will not be able to perform at ONE Music Fest,” Cardi wrote.

USA TODAY has reached out to Cardi B's reps for more details on her condition.

“It breaks my heart that I won't be able to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there,” Cardi concluded. “Bardi Gang – thank you for your understanding and I will be back better and stronger soon. No worries. I love you all.”

Prior to her hospitalization, Cardi was spotted at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on October 15 in Brooklyn, New York.

Cardi's health revelation follows her recent claim that an anonymous call called Child Protective Services to the rapper's home.

Cardi B criticizes “prank” that led to an alleged visit to child protection authorities

During an Instagram Live appearance earlier this week, Cardi claimed that a prank call was made to Child Protective Services complaining that her children were being physically abused. The rapper has three children — six-year-old daughter Kulture, three-year-old son Wave and a daughter born in September — with estranged husband and fellow hip-hop star Offset.

The video was filmed during Cardi's recent hospitalization, according to footage from the livestream shared on social media. The “Bodak Yellow” host, who said her medical stay began on Saturday, appeared to be lying in a hospital bed.

“I swear to you, I'm going to get to the bottom of this,” Cardi said of the alleged incident that resulted in “police officers and child protective services” arriving at her home.

“Making a little prank call to Child Protective Services to come to my gated villa at 11pm while my children are sleeping because there is an anonymous call that my children have been abused and beaten. …Then the pranks start to go too far.”

Cardi also criticized the alleged caller for the insensitivity of her CPS operations, saying her family members were the only people of color “in my neighborhood, completely.”

USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Cardi B and Child Protective Services for comment.

Cardi ended her Instagram Live by promising to take legal action against CPS and the person who made the alleged call.

“Don’t ever play with my motherhood or my ex-husband’s fatherhood in your… life,” Cardi said. “My children were never touched, never hit, no matter how annoying they were. I have never hit my children. … We take very good care of our children.”
