Unsurprisingly, Barcelona coach Hansi Flick was full of praise for Raphinha after the Brazilian scored a hat-trick against Bayern on Wednesday night.

Raphinha once again led by example, maintaining his outstanding form and leading Barcelona to an impressive Champions League victory.

He has never experienced anything like this in his coaching career, says Flick.

“He is a good example of how the team can work. He always has a good attitude in training and games. He is very important for us, also because of the counter pressure he creates. And also because of the way he prepares to score a goal,” he told reporters.

“He has good dynamics with the ball and played an exceptional game. His offensive and defensive dynamics and his good technique are something special. I’ve never had a player like him and he helps us a lot.”

The Barca coach also praised Marc Casado, who also starred and provided an assist with a beautiful ball to Raphinha.

“It's incredible when you know that Casadó comes from Barça Atlètic and see the level he's at now… He's incredibly good in defense and with the ball at his feet.”

“It's La Masia, it's La Masia. Everyone in the stadium sees the quality of these players. You could see the confidence we had in the second half and the way we passed the ball around, it was unbelievable. Everyone was happy, including the staff.”

It's been a great week for Barca so far with wins against Sevilla and Bayern. Next up is a trip to the Bernabeu to take on Real Madrid.
