MAGA actor Zachary Levi snaps back at View's Whoopi Goldberg

Actor Zachary Levi offered an answer The views Whoopi Goldberg after she claimed Hollywood is a “very right-wing city” while dismissing the actor's fears of backlash over his support of the former president Donald Trump.

Levi took to Instagram on Monday and dismissed Goldberg's argument as unrealistic. She replied that she could only name two prominent actors who publicly supported Trump because most did not have her name recognition or roots in the industry.

“To all the people of The view“I don't think it's accurate to say that Hollywood is somehow both a liberal and a conservative city,” he said Shazam actor said.

He added that it may have been more politically open and diverse “back then,” but “you really have to be at a certain level in your career (now) to really get away with it.”

The actor only called out Goldberg by name Jon Voight And Dennis Quaid as examples of regularly working MAGA stars, “out of the thousands of actors in Hollywood, of which you could name just two, there's actually something to be said for that.”

“There are many, and by the way, they've sent me a lot of messages, a lot of people in my industry, in Hollywood, who are afraid to say publicly that they would vote for Donald Trump or be conservative in any way,” Levi said Continuation. “That’s why you don’t see them. That's why they are not very common or prominent. You know this kind of shit has consequences,” Levi said.

The actor was previously a supporter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.but supported Trump at a rally after Kennedy Jr. also endorsed the Republican Party. At a rally in Michigan in September, Levi said he feared his support for Trump could mean “career suicide.”

In response, Goldberg offered to “train” Levi. The view.

“That’s not necessarily true. There's been this since the beginning of Hollywood – it's always been a very right-wing city, but I know you don't know much about the history of Hollywood, so let me educate you,” she said, then named Quaid and Voight and Levi's Fear as Refer to “BS”.

In his response, Levi encouraged others in his industry to speak out, saying it was “now or never” and that Hollywood was “fucking gonzo.”

“Our industry is going to be fucking gonzo. That's it already. The pandemic and strikes have already severely undermined it. My call to all of you out there, you closed-minded conservatives and Trump voters: It’s now or never,” he said. “Do whatever you want to do. If you have to come out publicly and say it, if you feel like you still can't do it, then don't do it. I would never pressure you into this. But know this: If what you are afraid of is the backlash from an industry that will soon no longer exist, then don’t let that hold you back.”
