Diddy accuser claims professional athlete intervened in sexual assault at star-studded party: lawsuit

A professional athlete allegedly stopped a “drunk” Sean “Diddy” Combs from sexually assaulting an unidentified man at a celebrity-filled party in 2022, according to a new lawsuit.

The man, who had developed a professional business relationship with Combs at the time, was invited to a promotional party for the rapper's liquor store – Ciroc. The alleged victim, identified only as John Doe, claimed he was invited to the party by Combs to interact with other “high-profile guests” in the entertainment industry.

Combs invited the man to his office during the party and the alleged victim believed the two were about to have a “discussion about business,” the lawsuit says. “However, plaintiff immediately recognized that Combs was drunk and acting strangely,” says the lawsuit, obtained by Fox News Digital. “Combs began to awkwardly move closer to the plaintiff. As he did so, Combs took off his pants and exposed his genitals to the plaintiff. “Combs continued to move closer and then grabbed plaintiff’s genitals through his pants and squeezed them in a rough and sexual manner.”

“The situation escalated until another individual, Professional Athlete A, entered the office and intervened, which ended the Combs' attack on Plaintiff,” the lawsuit states. “At that moment, plaintiff fled Combs and left the office. After leaving the office, the plaintiff left the party to return home.”

A professional athlete allegedly intervened when Sean “Diddy” Combs attempted to sexually assault a man at a 2022 Ciroc promotional party, according to a lawsuit.

John Doe claimed he was “shocked and disoriented” after the unwanted sexual encounter and was temporarily frozen by the “strangely inappropriate sexual advances.”

The alleged victim requests a jury trial to determine “damages for all physical injuries, emotional distress, psychological harm, anxiety, humiliation, physical and emotional pain and suffering, family and social disruption, and other damages.”

Fox News Digital has reached out to Combs' team for comment. The legal team previously denied that Combs sexually abused anyone, including minors.

“As Mr. Combs' legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every unfounded allegation in what has become a ruthless media circus,” said Combs' attorney, Erica Wolff. “Nevertheless, Mr. Combs strongly and categorically denies as false and defamatory any allegation that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and justifying himself in court, where the truth will be determined based on evidence, not speculation.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested on September 16th for sex crimes.

His legal team called for an order “prohibiting further out-of-court statements” from potential government witnesses and their attorneys in an Oct. 20 letter as civil lawsuits against Combs continue to mount.

“Mr. Combs has a constitutional right to a fair trial, free from the influence of adverse statements in the press,” said the letter, obtained by Fox News Digital.

Judge Arun Subramanian begins May 5. Prosecutors expect it will take three weeks to present the case to the government, while Combs' legal team estimates it will take a week to present the rapper's defense. The U.S. Attorney's Office also noted that the investigation is ongoing and raised the possibility of a superseding indictment that could prolong the trial.
