DORAL – The Dolphins football fans cringed and cheered for Tua Tagovailoas Decision to resume practice and possibly play in the Miami Dolphins' next game at home against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

The team gave the quarterback permission to practice on Monday. This came nearly six weeks after Tagovailoa suffered his third concussion in two years.

“It’s inspiring,” Estefani Ruiz said of Tagovailoa’s comeback. “It’s really inspiring.”

“I think it’s good (that Tagovailoa is returning),” Dolphins season ticket holder Lamont Brown said. “I think he's a great athlete. He is still young. If he can glide better, he will find protection for the helmet. I think this will be better.”

Another fan, Chris Herrera, said: “For his safety, damn it (he will cheer for Tagovailoa). As long as we have a good game. Every night, every Sunday, as long as it’s a great game.”

“You see, we need a quarterback,” said Jimmy Palou, another Dolphins season ticket holder. “We need him back. I'm kind of glad he's coming back. I'm worried too. You see what happened to him.”

Palou said it will be harder than ever to watch the quarterback on the field.

“You worry when he pulls out of the bag,” he said. “Will he run? Will it slip, as I hope? You know, you're not in college football anymore. These guys are bigger, faster, stronger…”

“Now you worry about Tua’s health every snap,” said Juan Ferrer, a Dolphins fan. “You don’t worry about a touchdown. You don’t worry about anything except when the next hard hit drops this guy on the ground and now he’s stiff.”
