The Arizona Cardinals led the Los Angeles Chargers 7-6 at halftime in Week 7, thanks in part to two absolutely wild plays that resulted in Chargers turnovers.

The Cardinals didn't convert either turnover into points, but the Chargers didn't score any points either.

Here is the first piece:

Kyler Murray attempted a pass over the middle to James Conner. Khalil Mack tipped the pass, which landed in the arms of defender Teair Tart and was intercepted.

Tart rumbled into Arizona territory, but Conner chased him from behind and knocked the ball out for a fumble. Michael Wilson recovered the football, allowing the Cardinals to survive the interception by forcing a fumble and putting it back on the drive rather than giving the Chargers the ball in field goal range.

The second play saved a touchdown.

Justin Herbert threw a deep pass to Jalen Reagor, who caught the ball and ran down the sideline. It looked like he was going to score a touchdown. Star cornerback Thomas V punched the ball out at the three-yard line, the ball bounced off Reagor's leg into the end zone, where safety Jalen Thompson caught it back for a touchback. Instead of the Chargers taking a 7-0 lead, it remained scoreless and the Cardinals took the lead.

What a crazy pair of games under the lights at State Farm Stadium.
