Senator Lindsey Graham is frustrated that Republicans voted for Kamala Harris this November. “Any Republican that supports them, what the hell are you doing?!” “You’re supporting the most radical candidate in the history of American politics,” he told “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker, who pointed out that several GOP Leaders who support Harris are “former Trump administration officials.”

“What are you doing? You want to convince me that Donald Trump's rhetoric is a danger to this country?” Graham added. “The danger to this country is the policies of Biden and Harris. Their fingerprints are all over this disaster And I can’t stand this crap for four more years. If you support them, you’re supporting four more years of trash politics.”

At that point, Welker deftly shifted the conversation to the events of January 6, 2021, which she said Trump called “a day of love” despite police officers being “beaten with baseball bats and flagpoles.” She asked, “Is this a day of love for you, Senator?”

“Most people have not entered the Capitol. Those who did it needed to be punished,” Graham said. “But most people came there thinking the election was stolen. Ultimately, I support punishing the people who broke into the Capitol. But here we are, 16 days after the election and you haven’t asked me a single question about how Kamala Harris is going to get America on the right path because she has no plan.”

Welker interjected, noting that she had spoken with Democratic Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro about Harris' plan for the country and hoped the conversation with Graham would continue to focus on Trump — something Graham wasn't open to .

“But all the questions centered around Donald Trump’s rhetoric. They weren't concerned with how we could make America safe and prosperous again. They don't have a plan; President Trump does,” Graham said.

Welker tried again to ask Graham if he believed January 6 was a “day of love.” He responded: “Most of the people there didn’t attack the Capitol. They came for love of the country. The people who attacked the Capitol are in prison.”
