How do I do that?

You can download a voter registration application form at the Secretary of State's website or at places such as your local county clerk, Department of Motor Vehicles and public library. You can submit it by mail or to your district office. The form must be signed with a pen.

How do I find out where my polling station is?

To find your polling place, you can contact your county clerk's office or look online at www.voterview.org.

Can I vote by postal vote?

Absentee voting is only possible under certain circumstances – if you are “unavoidably” absent from your polling place, have an illness or physical disability, are in the military or live abroad. However, you can also request a postal vote if you are concerned that contracting COVID-19 poses a risk to your health. Apply in person by November 1st or by mail by October 29th.

When is the latest I can submit my ballot?

What if I need help getting to the polling station?

If you cannot go to the polls, you can check whether you are entitled to vote by post.
