Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25th with 16 multiplayer maps at launch. Unlike 2023's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, the maps for Black Ops are all brand new at launch. Modern Warfare III debuted with a number of maps recycled from previous games – and players expressed frustration and concern about it – but Black Ops 6 will hit the ground running with all-new maps.

“We know that map flow and variety are critical to the best gaming experience, and we have a great mix of map sizes for Black Ops fans at launch,” said developer Treyarch.
