The Falcons release the inactive list ahead of their Week 7 game against the Seattle Seahawks

ATLANTA – The Falcons got some good news regarding one Justin Simmons in pregame warmups.

After being listed as questionable on Friday with a hamstring injury, the starting safety was given the all-clear before the start of Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. He was not placed on the Falcons' inactive list, meaning he will be available for Atlanta's Week 7 contest.

Which concerns whom? Is On the list, the Falcons had already ruled out inside linebacker Troy Andersen due to a lingering knee injury that has kept him off the field for three games now (including Sunday). Atlanta also placed outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter on injured reserve Saturday because of a concussion, so he is not on the inactive list but also will not be available to the Falcons for at least four games.

Atlanta will also be without cornerback Antonio Hamilton Sr., who was on the injury report this week with a back injury. When the organization placed Carter on injured reserve, it signed cornerback Kevin King to the active 53-man roster. So they still have solid defensive strength, even if Hamilton is not available on match day.

Here is the complete list of Falcons who were inactive for the Week 7 matchup with the Seahawks:
