TMZ Sports on Sunday released police bodycam footage from the arrest of former NBA point guard Rajon Rondo in January.

The officer explained in the video that he pulled Rondo over in Jackson County, Indiana, because he didn't have a license plate on the back of his car. It was also clear from the video that the officers knew who he was, as one of them said, “He played for a number of NBA teams. I don’t care, I’m just telling you.”

Rondo was arrested when police said they found a gun, drug paraphernalia and marijuana in the car.

Rondo agreed to a plea deal in September that resulted in two of the three charges against him being dropped. Rondo agreed to plead guilty to unlawful carrying of a handgun.

As TMZ noted, Rondo was sentenced to 180 days in jail, although the sentence was suspended and he faces probation instead as long as he has no other legal issues.

Rondo entered the NBA as a first-round pick in 2006 and played for 16 seasons.

The University of Kentucky product suited up for the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans, Los Angeles Lakers, Atlanta Hawks, LA Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers.

He is best known for his time in Boston, where he won an NBA championship and was a four-time All-Star.
