Friday's Patriots vs. Jaguars injury report: Rhamondre Stevenson makes headlines about New England's questionable play

The New England Patriots flew overseas with Rhamondre Stevenson on board.

And after being sidelined for five consecutive training sessions due to a foot injury, the starting running back returned to Harrow School on Friday. He has since been listed among the seven most questionable players for a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“Yes, I'm fine at the moment,” Stevenson told reporters during his press conference in London. “I had to take a few days off, but I feel like I should be ready to play on Sunday.”

Here's the rest of the game status ahead of kickoff at 9:30 a.m. ET at Wembley Stadium.

New England demoted Lowe to out before going to England. The starting left guard had missed two straight practices after suffering an ankle injury in the first half of last weekend's 41-21 loss to the Houston Texans at Gillette Stadium. An MRI followed. And a seventh combination in as many games is ready for the offensive line. The 2023 trade acquisition includes three starts through four appearances this fall, totaling 189 offensive snaps. He was previously on the injury report with abdominal and knee problems.

QUESTIONABLE

Patriots

  • RB Rhamondre Stevenson (foot)
  • WR Javon Baker (illness)
  • G Michael Jordan (ankle)
  • LB Sione Takitaki (knee)
  • LB Curtis Jacobs (knee)
  • CB Jonathan Jones (shoulder)
  • CB Marco Wilson (groin)

Jaguars

  • RB Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring)
  • CB Tyson Campbell (hamstring)

Stevenson was a full force in his return for the Patriots after being ruled out last week. In addition to the leader, Jordan also got into the race after successive limited sessions. Promoted to the 53-man roster in September, the player missed snaps in his last start at left guard due to an ankle injury. The only New England player questionable to be excluded from Friday's practice would be Baker. The Central Florida rookie, who recently became a healthy scratch on the wide receiver depth chart, has been battling an illness.

Ten other players have cleared the injury report and will be without a game designation, including starter Marcus Jones and safety and captain Kyle Dugger.
