Eblen dominated with his grappling for four rounds. In the fifth round he seemed to step on the gas and began to give in to Edwards' relentless body attack. Nevertheless, the Bellator champion was able to retain his title and remain undefeated.

Zafar Mohsen defeated Husein Kadimagomaev by unanimous decision 30:27

This fight was about as one-sided over 15 minutes as you can see in a fight that doesn't end in a stoppage. Mohsen looked like Hercules and fought like him on his way to an easy victory.

Paul Hughes defeats AJ McKie via split decision (29-28×2, 28-29)

Hughes has been one of the biggest free agents in mixed martial arts over the past two years. On Saturday he proved that he is the right one. He used excellent boxing, well-placed knees and solid climbing to earn a split decision victory over one of the best lightweights in the world.

One could make a case for McKie to win the second and third rounds, but Hughes landed the more telling punches and McKie didn't dominate the wrestling as much as he would have liked.

Hughes called out Bellator lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov during his post-fight press conference.

Overall, the map offered a lot of action. However, the Saudi audience was so silent for most of the event that it seemed as if they did not understand the seriousness of the event.
